Team MoDak
The name MoDak is represented by Josh and Sarah Pennington and originated from our connection to the Missouri River. Josh was born and raised in Missouri, and though he did not paddle on the Missouri River growing up, he spent much of his time playing and paddling throughout the many Ozark Streams. Sarah's roots grow near the sandbars of the Missouri River in Mandan North Dakota, where she would re-live the adventures of Lewis and Clark while paddling the river with friends.
They currently reside in Columbia, Missouri, where they spend alot of their time volunteering for Missouri River Relief, an organization that has a passion to look beyond this mighty river's chains and see its beauty.
Together they are paddling 340 miles in the 2011 Missouri River 340, the worlds longest non-stop canoe race.
